My family loves spring. Here in North Carolina, my daffodils and irises are blooming. The robins are building nests in the bushes and trees around the house, much to my cats' delight. I'm getting ready to plant my vegetable garden in a couple of weeks. Far cry from growing up in upstate New York where you planted your garden over Memorial weekend when you were very sure the threat of frost had passed!
But to make spring even better ~ we pull our motorhome out of storage and carry it (that's southern for 'take') to Williamsburg, Virginia. If you like American history and amusement parks, military installations and beaches, this is the place for you! We love it and as long as our teenagers think it's still cool, we'll make the effort to get there. Every spring!
